Central Bedfordshire Council is delighted to be a partner in the Evalu8 project, and these are exciting times for transport in Central Bedfordshire. Following the creation of our unitary authority in April 2009, we have placed particular emphasis on the promotion of low and no carbon transport in our new Local Transport Plan, and believe that the ‘Plugged In Places’ project offers great potential for the authority and its partners to cut carbon emissions and promote environmentally sustainable growth in our region.
